This was a great deal and avoids the use of more and more, and more batteries. The battery pack recahrges the wii controllers in no time. I think this was an excellent purchase and good for the environment as well.
The only recharge station I would trust May 16, 2008
I did a lot of research before I purchased my recharging system.
While a lot of the other charge stations I looked at included spots to rest the other Wii peripherals -- some even had a fan to cool the unit -- I didn't trust the brands or the craftsmanship. The majority of the other models looked and felt clunky and were usually decorated with LED lighting that was nothing more than distracting.
What makes the Nyko model great is the price, looks and the quality. It's a simple design that looks great sitting along side the Wii. Best of all, not only does it come with rechargeable battery packs and the "gripped" battery cover, additional battery packs and covers can be purchased separately at a reasonable price. This is good because most people with Wii have more than two controllers and, as we all know, rechargeable battery packs don't last forever.

CONS
-The strap on the Wiimote can sometimes interfere with the controller meeting up with the charging components in the cradle. It just takes some fidgeting and readjusting with the strap to make it work.

Perfect when you play the Wii alot. A charging station makes playing better because you don't have to stop and wait for your controller to charge. This back-up system works great and I highly recommend it to anyone who owns a Wii
