This James Bond box set is another in a series of DVD collections that feature four Bond films, cleaned from their original master tapes, restored for impeccable quality. When one watches these movies again you swear your watching them for the first time. I emphasize the quality of these films is unheard of, and are far superior than any of the releases of the Bond films over the years, both on VHS and DVD.
In this set you get the following fims: "Goldeneye", "Live and Let Die", "From Russia With love", and "On Her Majesty's Secret Service". What is neat about this collection is you get a chance to see different James Bond interpretations from different actors that are varied and unique.
Each movie is housed in its own slimcase. The films have their own individual disc, and the bonues for each movie also comes in its own disc. The bonuses are many and include interviews, trailers, TV spots, and much more.
If your a Bond fan you won't want to miss owning these exceptional box sets. In total there are four Bond box sets. Enjoy!

I've got most of this collection in the "Ultimate" DVD series. Since I've bought an upscaling blu-ray player I've been trying to replace poorer quality DVDs but I must say the quality of most of these films in the Ultimate series is so good that any blu-ray improvements are negligible (Eg: FRWL & OHMSS).

The only problem I have with this particular collection is George Lazenby in On Her Majesty's Secret Service. The movie was good; the actor, lamentable, which is why, I suppose, he was a one non-hit wonder. And in the interest of a complete collection, the movie can't be omitted. I have collected all four Ultimate Editions and am pleased with having them all "under one roof", making it easy to compare films. Sean Connery is the quintessential James Bond for me, but it's interesting to see each actor's imprint on the Bond character.

My teenage film student daughter has recently taken an interest in the Bond series of films, so this seemed like a great way to show her these. Each Volume of this series includes 5 films, + a bonus disc for each film. At under $30 for each volume, how could you go wrong? Along with Volume 3, I've already also purchased Volumes 1 & 4... Volume 2 coming.
