 Original HP cartridges are the only way to go - don't buy refurbished ones! Nov 30, 2008

Like most of you out there, I think toner is too damned expensive. Recently, I ordered generic "refurbished" toner cartridges for my HP 3550 color laserjet. What a bad move. Color isn't consistent with non-HP cartridges and two of the four leaked toner powder all over the inside of my printer causing a total mess. Do yourself a favor and stick to brand new HP supplies for your HP printer. You'll be glad you did! Consistent output and high quality images don't happen by accident.

This is in retail packaging but it is remanufactured or, in other words, refurbished. Don't make the mistake of thinking you are buying a new retail product.

This is a product that I need to order several times per year and this is the way to do it - it's an authorized HP product, arrives quickly, and undamaged -- and at a good price -- can't ask for much more!

Faulty Item, Missleading title Oct 29, 2010

This ink cartridge would not load correctly on the first 4 tries. Finally on the 5th try it was recognized as a "Genuine HP" cartridge. However it leaked blobs of ink on the prints and put a gray haze across the entire sheet. I called customer service at Tonerize who was very responsive and promised a refund.
No problem, stuff happens. However I take serious issue with the title of the item on Amazon which is listed as: "Genuine HP cartridge in Retail Packaging"
This is the exact same heading as the NEW cartridge which is what I wanted. I made the mistake of not scrolling down to the fine print where it said refurbished.
I believe it is misleading to have the exact same product heading for a new and refurbished item. So be aware (I wasn't)
