godzilla action figure-7" 2004 Mecha godzilla Jun 23, 2009 Bought this for son's 12th birthday, he has been a Godzilla fan since he was 2, this toy was an addition to his growing collection of Godzilla items.
A Great Toy To Display Feb 16, 2009 Having read some of the other reviews, I will say that there were 3 versions of the Mecha Godzilla 2004 mark III released.
The first version has both hands
The second version has the right drill hand
and the third version has the regular hands AND the shoulder mounted cannons.
This version is the 2nd version of the Mecha Godzilla Mark 3 due to it having a drill hand instead of the regular robotic hand. I bought mine along with the other 2 versions and have them displayed side by side with each other along with my other Godzilla figures and villans (both old and new).
IF you are a Godzilla Fan then I would recommend buying at least 2 or 3 of each figure since you will be tempted to display one and play with the other one (the third one can be a backup in case of damage to the one you are playing with or if the dog decided to see how tough Mecha Godzilla really is!)
nice detail Dec 08, 2008 very good quality toy .it is flexible and not easy to break .it stands up without a problem.all the figures i have from bandai are good.

Machine Dragon! Jul 14, 2008 MechaGodzilla is my favorite of Godzilla's many nemeses. The star of no less than five Godzilla films, more than any other monster, there is just something cool about this cyborg anti-Godzilla.
This figure is based on the Godzilla Against Mechagodzilla film in the Millennium series, the one constructed over the skeleton of the original Godzilla. The description lists this figure as being from Final Wars, which is incorrect as MechaGodzilla did not appear in that flick.
It isn't the full deal, and lacks the shoulder cannons that he sported in the film, but other than that the detail is great and with moving arms and head the figure is more than just a plastic statue, and able to make some cool poses with it. It's study, and could stand up to play pretty well. For me, it is just sitting on my desk at work, but it could easily be a child's toy as well.

It's great to see Kiryu! Jul 13, 2008 Although for some reason, most poeple call this Kaiju Mechagodzilla, it's actualy called Kiryu to keep it from being confused with the other two Mechagodzillas. with a drill hand movable head, arms, and tail and extremely durable, this Kiryu is one that should be added to any Kaiju collection!
